How to Create and Configure a Client

This article provides administrators with step by step instructions for creating a new client, configuring contracts and enabling frameworks. 

 

⚠️ You must have admin rights to complete the actions below

 

Client Creation

Access the Client Configuration Screen

  1. Select Administration from the left hand menu
  2. Select Manage Clients
  3. Select the Add Button

 

Enter Client Details

  1. Complete all relevant fields
    1. Short Name: Initial or common name (Used in reports)
    2. Vertical and Industry: Used for analytics and reporting
    3. Client Type: Direct is the standard selection
    4. Time Zone: Provides a variable on which to calculate local time vs UTC
    5. Portal Type: Defines client portal access (Self-Guided or Full CRT)

 

Client Contract

Once the client details are saved, you will then have access to additional sections including the client contract.

  1. From the Client Details page select Client Contract
  2. Select the Add button to create a new contract
    1. For an existing contract, select the Edit Icon
  3. Select the Add button to create line items for each desired module
    1. Ensure that billing dates are correct
    2. Modules must be marked both Signed and Paid to be activated

 

Enable Framework Access

Once each module has been added to a client, it will become available to configure.

  1. Within the client, select the Client Products tab
  2. Navigate to the Assessment Types Available field and choose which frameworks should be available to the client
    1. If no frameworks are selected, you will not be able to create an engagement
  3. Select Save
